This leader center stores only your own preparation marks and private notes in this browser. Keep participant health details, attendance, contact information, and pastoral conversations in your church’s approved secure system—not on this public page.
Assign a lead facilitator, an adaptation/safety lead, a hospitality lead, and a follow-up lead. One person may fill more than one role in a small group.
Clear walkways, secure rugs, confirm lighting and temperature, provide stable chairs, identify water and restrooms, and establish the emergency plan.
Participation is voluntary. No weigh-ins, diet policing, public health disclosure, touching without consent, ridicule, or comparison.
Describe the program as adaptable general education. Tell participants to seek professional clearance when symptoms, conditions, pregnancy, injury, or treatment make that appropriate.
Leader readiness
These marks stay on this device. Complete all six before gathering the group.
The repeatable gathering
Keep the same basic flow so participants know what is coming. Shorten any block when the group needs more transition, rest, access support, or pastoral care.
Names, wins, needs, voluntary readiness check, and the day’s safety reminder.
Read the week’s reference, offer the central truth, and use one open question.
Warm up, practice the weekly patterns, offer visible options, and protect conversational effort.
Meal skill, recovery practice, home setup, accountability, or obstacle-solving.
Each person chooses one attainable practice. Close without pressure to disclose.
Twelve-week curriculum
Non-negotiable standards
A faith-centered program should be unusually safe, honest, welcoming, and protective of the person. These standards apply to leaders, volunteers, participants, photographs, stories, and online communication.
Every movement is optional. Ask before touching, spotting, photographing, praying publicly about health, or sharing a story. “No” requires no explanation.
Demonstrate standing, supported, seated, and lower-range choices with equal respect. Keep a stable chair and rest space available.
Speak about control, energy, function, courage, sleep, service, and consistency. Never rank bodies or moralize body size, food, disability, or pace.
Do not discuss health details in the room. Use approved secure systems, restrict access, set retention rules, and never place participant data on this page.
Leaders provide general education and group support—not diagnosis, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, individualized medical nutrition, or medication advice.
Chest pain or pressure, fainting, sudden weakness, severe unusual shortness of breath, confusion, or a serious fall require immediate response under the emergency plan.
Group tools
The printable page intentionally avoids health fields, weight, measurements, and sensitive disclosures. Attendance itself can still be private; store completed paper according to your organization’s policy.
A simple name/initial, voluntary check-in, next action, and follow-up column with no medical details.
A one-page agreement covering dignity, consent, confidentiality, adaptation, encouragement, and responsibility.
Assign exact chapters for optional reading and let members keep their progress privately on their own devices.
